We went to see the cherry trees and were in awe of their beauty. We took the Metro to the Mall then walked to the Jefferson memorial and strolled around the tidal basin. I hope you all get a chance to see them, they are spectacular!! We had a picnic on a bench surrounded by blooms. Julia loved people watching and eating her snacks. It was a little chilly at first but the sun came out to warm us up by the afternoon. There wasn't much of a crowd because we went on a Monday. The trees are suppose to be in full bloom on April 4th. It looked like they were in full bloom when we were there. The pictures just can't capture their true beauty!!! We are so happy that Spring is finally here!!!!
